Context mapping between SAP's components

I am trying to map context from a SAP created WebDynpro component to be visible (so I can save to database) in another SAP created component using Enhancements.

I created 3 nodes in component controller and mapped them to view of COMP1 using enhancement but the option to make them interface nodes is grayed out. I also tried to create a method in component controller and make it interface but that option is also not available in enhancement.

I want to save data from 3 context nodes in COMP1 to COMP2 by declaring COMP1 as used component in COMP2 ...but context of COMP1 is not available in COMP2.

Is there any workaround to this...or am I doing it wrong.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Bobby,

I fear without declaring nodes as interface you cannot use them in another component

Thanks

When I open that component in Enhancement mode I do not have the option to declare context node as interface node. The only option left seems to be core mode.... ie get access key for that object, but I would prefer not to go that route.

Is there any workaround to this ?

Thanks.
