Hello Guys,
We made a system copy of our production system.
The new server in abap stack is working fine.
But when i issue the hostname followed by port, the webpage for IR/ID is not opening.
Without that, i am unable to check exchange profile.
Let me know what to do
My abap stack is working fine and even have pinged the system.
Regards
Krish

Hi,
You don't necessarily need to go to IR/ID page for opening exchange Profile. Try the link below and you should be able to go to your exchange profile.
http://<hostname>:<httpport>/exchangeProfile
For checking if your http port is correct or not you can go to smicm transaction and click on Go To Services on your XI ABAP stack.
Hope this helps you out
Thanks
Amit
hi...
go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc in this folder host file will be there..give the IP address of the your server....
if the problem still persist..go to the browser
tools->Internetoptions->connections--->lansettings
remove the proxy setting here..
and check it....
if works fine points plz....
Hi,
Just give the IP of the XI Server instead of the Hostname.
This time it shld open.
To overcome this issues
in the folowing path, you have to make an entry for the xi server
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Open the Hosts file with Notepad and make an entry like this
172.16.35.12 pxiprd
