probelm while doing hiring action.

Hi Experts...

Here im trying to hire an employee.After giving all the data

in pa40 like start date,last name,first name,date of Birth,Personnel area,personnel subarea,Employee group and employee subgroup and position etc...

System is picking the wrong employee number from other

employee number range 9 and is giving error message that Number

range 10 is internal,do not enter a personnel number.

Infact i didnt enter any personnel number..why the system is picking the wrong employee number from range 09 instead of number range10.

Please advice me to resolve the problem.

Also try the Maintain number range intervals for personnel numbers in Personnel Administration Basis Setting in SPRO.

Hi,

Pls. check the NUMKR feature return value. There 09 might be defaulted for your the particular position's Emp group/PSA etc.
