Industry sector of the Material

Hi there!

Do we have any way out to find out the 'Industry Sector' for the material (irrespective of any material type) which is already created and available in the system.

Ex: Material - XYZ - Is created in the system a year back.

I want to know.. which industry sector does this material belongs to?

Is there any way out? If Yes, What are the ways to find out this.

Dear,

You can get list of materials with industry sector with below mention details.

Use MARA table.

Enter SE16 t-code.

Here enter table MARA and press enter.

Then enter your material codes and click on execute.

You will get material wise industry list

Go to MM03 and Input Material and in Basic Data View Click o Blue Colour Information Icon and it will show the desired.

Or Go to MM60 and Input Material and Execute.

Else Go to MARA Table and Input Material asd Execute.

Hi,

You can get the information for the idustry ssector for the material either from the table MARA or by clicking the icon 'I' in the tool bar.

go to MM03 give ur material

in basic data1 view u will find a " i " icon in blue color

click it u will get all details
