Change of distribution channel

I want to change the distribution channel of a material. But dont know how.

distribution channel is org level field so you can not change but use the same mateirl and create with new dist channel than use the mateiral with the new dist channel

Hi,

I try to create condition records (VK31). However whn I try to save the record, a message is displayed saying that

Material PLÜSCHELEFANT1 in Verkaufsorg. 1001 m. Vertriebsweg 10 ist nicht vorgesehen

Material xxxxxxxxxxxx not defined in sales organization 1001 with distribution channel 10. (VK007).

How can I solve the problem?

go to MM01 and enter the same material number with the sales organization 1001 with distribution channel 10 and create the material than it will not give an error.

Legen Sie über das Customizing das fehlende Nummernkreisintervall an.

so I have to take care of the number interval for object RF_Beleg.

I think it is somewhere in the customizing, but dont know where exactly.

I have solved that about the number range intervals.

I am not much experienced in MM. It seems easier to write the whole program again than to find how to use it

Dear,

Why you want to change distribution channel for material.

If you want to maintain material with other distribution channel, then use MM01 enter your material code and press enter.

Then select sales view and also enter plant, sales org and distribution channel.

Then enter required detail for sales view.

And set deletion flag for existing distribution channel of material with MM06.
