Install SAP PI/XI

Hi all.

I want to install a SAP PI/XI and we have a SAP NW 2004s SR2 install DVD's.

I have a SAP XI release 3.0 SR1 installation guide.

My question is: What SAP PI/XI version i must to install with SAP NW 2004s ?? Can I to install a SAP XI 3.0 SR1 with SAP NW 2004s???

Hi,

NW2004 -> XI 3.0

NW2004s -> PI 7.0

Ok . Thanks for your fast response.

But in sap manuals page ( https://websmp106.sap-ag.de/instguidesnw04 ), I haven't found the SAP PI 7.0 Installation manual, I've only found the SAP PI 7.1 installation manual.

Can you say me where is the SAP PI 7.0 installation manual ??

Hi,

There is no SAP PI 7.0 manual. Instead, you have to use SAP netveaver 2004s SRX installation master guide.

Here you can find specific installation and post-installation steps to install PI.

No. PI 7.0 is what you can install with NW2004s. XI 3.0 is part of NW2004 package.

PI 7.0 is the advanced version of XI 3.0.

Hi Navarro,

If you have SAP NW 2004s SR2 install DVD's, then you will install PI 7.0

You must follow the master guide SAP Netweaver 2004s of your Operating System and Data Base.
