Material Master not reading Navigational Atrributes

Former Member

Hi All,

I have two navigational attributes for Material i.e. GCAT and DCAT.

I am able to see the data in cube for all the materials with GCAT and DCAT values as well.

But strangely i am not able to see the GCAT and DCAT values for only two materials.

I checked the version of those two materials and it is active.

And my navigational attributes are not time dependent attributes.

Please suggest any ideas on this issue.

Thanks.

Reddy

Hi there,

Probably you didn't execute the change run for material.

Go to transaction rsattr and click on InfoObjec list.

Select the InfoObject material and execute that change run.

Hi All,

Thanks for immediate reply.

Data is maintained for those two materials and it is in active version.

Naviational attributes data is already maintained and it is in active version.

I have conduted RSRV test also for SID's and Navigational attributes.

Test results shows material is consistent.

Please advise is there anything to check.

Thanks

Ok,

That means that you have already done the change run in rsattr as suggested?

Because if you have any change run to be done in rsattr for 0MATERIAL that's sufficient for those attributes not been showed for the material.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

My process chain will take care of attribute change run and couldn't see any objects in the rsattr transaction.

Those two materials are avialable in active version, but i am unable to see the data in cube for those materials.

Please suggest.

Thanks.

Hi,

In that case I don't know...

You can always run the report in transaction se38 named RSDMD_CHECKPRG_ALL to see if it fixes anything for 0MATERIAL.

Hi,

Navigational attributes are simply read from the master data tables of the infoobject.

Check in the Attribute table of Material for those material whether the details are mainted for both the objects u mentioned.
