Update process is continouslt runing

Hi All,

Update process is Continuously running in my system, see the process as mention below which is running Can any one help me resolve this issue

10 UPD 1824 Running Yes 90 CL_WB_CROSSREFERENCE==========CP 100 PCSDEVL Sequential Read WBCROSSGT

HI

Get the user running the job from SM50. Go to SM12 and check if there is a lock for a long time with that user. Delete the lock for that user.

If still the jobs are not getting cancel led, go ahead with killing the process with out core option.

Hi ddm ddm,

Check the Job is healthy/not go to SM37 give the job name, form menu job >check status , If the job is not healthy it will turns to canceled. take the work processer PID go to ST04 > detaile analysis menu > oracle sessions> find the PID captured frm SM50 check what action it is doing. Also have a glance on DB01, DB02.

Are you sure that your DB is running?

Also are there any long running active jobs in sm37?

Hi,

Check whether the tablespaces are nearing full? If so increase the size of the tablespace.

Check for filesystem space too..

If the above is fine, refresh the SM50 screen to check any update is happening and also check the dev_w* log for any errors..

Hi,

Check and post the SM21 log, Oracle alert log (assuming you are using this database) and any ABAP dumps generated for errors during that time.
