what is the diffrence betweensy-tabix and sy-index

SY-TABIX gives you the current line within a loop - endloop or select - endselect loop.

SY-INDEX is supposed to do the same but in our ECC60 system during those loops it is always 0 therefore we are using sy-tabix only.
