Hi Experts
I want to load data monthly in my cube..
I have 0calmonth in my cube..
I want to schedule infopackage for regular pull, I want to use selection variant for that..
I am trying to use free temporal selection but its not working.. can I use it? Or can I use OLAP variable?
How each of them will work??

Hey today i told my senior about it.. then she told that u can try this variants.. i read about this in sap help.. i felt it is much more simpler as it automatically pulls data on each month so i was trying for it but its not working.. if it doesnt work then I think I will have to go for delta update..

Hi Swathi,
Check this link

You might want to periodically load data from the source system into the SAP Business Information Warehouse and, in doing so, need to periodically change selection field contents (for example, date fields). If so, choose one of the following selections in the Type (Variable Changing of Selections with Background Processing) entry column from the Data Selection tab page.
The variables are not replaced by concrete values until a request is made.
