Variable Selection Change in Background Processing

Hi Experts

I want to load data monthly in my cube..

I have 0calmonth in my cube..

I want to schedule infopackage for regular pull, I want to use selection variant for that..

I am trying to use free temporal selection but its not working.. can I use it? Or can I use OLAP variable?

How each of them will work??

Hey today i told my senior about it.. then she told that u can try this variants.. i read about this in sap help.. i felt it is much more simpler as it automatically pulls data on each month so i was trying for it but its not working.. if it doesnt work then I think I will have to go for delta update..

The variables are not replaced by concrete values until a request is made.

Hey

I was trying this but it is not working properly

First time I gave values 2005001-2005002.. It has pulled data for 2005001-2005002 but next time when it runs instead of pulling 2005003-2005004, it again pulls 2005001-2005002 data..

Hi Swathi,

You have told only for current month. only take 'current calender month' from data selection tab in infopackage screen and see.
