Hi All,

I've a doubt my users have come with a requirement in mm01 while creating a material they wanted to include the material grade is there any provision to do that ?

u can put different material group which is different from material type.

Hi

If U Want Single Material With Diffrent Grades And As Per Diffrent Price U Can Use The Classification View For The Purpose

It Is Called As Varient Configuration

Consult Ur Pp Consultant

Try Finding Docs For Simple Varient Configuration

if u just want to use the grades then u can use diffrent text fields available in basic data 1 and 2

Hi,

If it is just for information purpose then;

You can use either of following fields in Basic Data 1;

- Material Group

- External Material Group

- Old Material Number

- Size/dimensions

OR Following in Basic Data 2;

- Ind. Std Desc. 2

- Basic material
