Pages per group crystal

Hi there,

I have a very large crystal report in vis studio

It groups by customer.

How can I have a page count per group?

So that each customer will have their own Page N of M

You can't do a page n of m for each group. But you can reset the page number after the group footer. You do this from the Section Expert for the Group Footer.

Keep in mind that the page n of m will reduce the performance of your report. The page n of m forces the entire report to process before showing you the first page. If you have a large/complex report you may end up waiting a long time.

Thanks for that David,

I am pleased to say that what you said solved my problem.

I went to my group footer in the section expert and checked "Reset Page Number After". Now the "Page N of M" in the group header works exactly as I need it. Each customer has his own page count.

If there is a performance issue then we will have to live with it as we need this page count in there.
