TEXT FIELD TO BE MADE MANDATORY

I want to make the text field in sales order as mandatory, is it possible ??

Hi,

Include the relevant Text type (Sales Header/Item) in the Incompleteness Procedure and check the "Warning" box which will give info to the user when does not enter the relevant values in the text.Later assign the same to document type where you wantthe test as mandatory.

Further if the user forcefully saves the order the system will not allow him to do the subsequent docs as the preceeding document is incomplete.

Hi,

In Tcode VOTXN (or VOTX), select your text procedure for doc header or item.

And for your Id text, choose X "text is obligatory".
