material deletion

can anybody suggest me to delete the any existing material from the database. i am working on SAP 4.7. please describe the full process.

hi,

You flag the material for deletion from MM06..after this you can archive your MMR...then due to this the MMR will be available in display mode and willl be automatically deleted after the retention period of the MMR reaches....

The process via MMDE is not suggested in standard SAP system...

Dear,

You can delete material from Database with MMDE.

All material of specific client will be deleted with this t-code.

First check in IDES.

HI

You can delete all the materials using MMDE. But do not try this in production.

Material can also be flagged for deletion for a particular S/loc in plant using MM06.

Please try nd see.
