Planning calender

Hi

in my plant there is two production line A & B.

A having five work day in a week and B having six work day in a week, so it is possible to maintened a single plaaning calender for both and where is the setting for that

i don't think its planning calender....it shd be factory calender..it is maintain from SCAL tcode...This factory calender is maintained for a plant...so its not possible for 2 different lines separately...

On what basis factory calender is maintained:

A calender has to be defined to each and every plant to decide about the plants holidays and workdays.Unless a plant is

having a calender it will not be in a position to decide about its schedule upon its operations.

Hence a factory calender will be created and will be assigned to the plant.

Here holidays will be created and assigned to the holiday calender and in turn the holiday calender will be assigned to

the factory calender.Factory calender will be assigned to the plant .

Based upon the holidays provided ,during the transactions system prompts.....
