asset planned depreciation

Hi,

Asset explorer is showing wrong planed depreciation i.e. if asset is acquiered on 29.07.2008 then system is calculating depreciation from 29.07.2008 only but it is showing in posted values tab from first period(01 april) onwards insted of showing from july.my problem is if i run depreciation run depreciation will post in april month which is wrong.

Asset trasfered date is 06.08.2008 Go live date 11.08.2008 but still depreciation calculating from april though asset value date and ordinary depreciation start date is 27.07.2008. i have checked period control method also and depreciation to the day check box also checked.

please specify the trassfer date in Asset data transfer then system will calculate depreciation based on the date specified in asset data transfer .

goto SPRO/ asset accounting / asset data transfer / parameters for data transfer / date specification /

specify transfer date , then system will calculate based on the date u defined

I dont think Asset Explorer has any problem. Depreciation calculation gets determined based on the Period controls defined for depreciation key. Check AFAMP.
