pros and cons of having one plant under one company cd

Dear all

Anyone clarify what are pros and cons of having one plant under one company code in SAP?

(eg.stock transfer between plants scenario wont be there..like wise.....)

Hello,

There are no pros and cons as such. It absolutely depends on the business requirements.

Preferably if u define more than two plants under the same company code then it becomes easier for the Accounting. Also the delivery costs, orders, time takem for processings, procurement, lead tim etc every thing is to be taken in consideration.

Only from SAP point of view the STO scenario would not be possible without two plants.

Preferably if u define two plants then they are framed under the same company code from the Logistics point of view.
