Factory calender and Holiday Calender

Hi Gurus,

I need to define calender for my plants.

Except one plant all the plant are running 7 days in a week

The exceptional plant is running first 8 months all the full 7 days in a week . For remaining 4 months are holiday for the most of workcenters and may be some of the workcenter will run on Sudays .

Please advice me how to define the same and attach to workcenter.

Dear,

You need to create only one factory calender.

Best way you need to define shift sequence OP4A according to the plant and assign it to your relevant work center for particular valid period of time and then So go in work center in capacities screen define your interval of avilable capacity there, you will get option workdays there you have to select :- Working days (overrides factory calendar). Meas all days are working day. Don't do in other plant which are nit work on holiday

After that scheduling will take place on holiday also for all days working plant.

Factory calendar will be remains same but scheduling will be take place on holiday for particular validity period of shift sequence as you maintained in work center.

Go to SPRO>ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE->DEFINITION> LOG GENERAL>DEFINE COPY,DELETE AND CHECK PLANT>DEFINE PLANT to assign calender to plant and you can create in SCAL.

You need to Create 3 factory calendar

1. All days working day.

2. 8 months working and 4 months holiday

3. 8 months working and remaining 4 months except sunday holiday.

assign 3 rd calendar to WC those working on sundays.
