After you unzip the downloaded patch file from SAP Site, you'll have a file called 'PatchUpgrade_Guide.pdf'.

Follow the instructions as per this file to upgrade to patch.

Step-by-Step Procedure:

1. Backup your databases.

Backup the Common database and all your Company databases.

2. Upgrade Common database.

Upgrade the Common database on the SAP Business One server machine, as described in the Upgrade Guide at channel.sap.com/sbo/documentation.

3. Upgrade the administrator client.

In case you have an administrator client, upgrade it by connecting to your company database. For more information, see the Upgrade Guide at channel.sap.com/sbo/documentation.

SAP recommends that you install the application software on the SAP Business One server machine (administrator client). This lets you perform administrative tasks from your server machine without interrupting the company workstations.

4. Upgrade your Company databases.

This step is only relevant to patches that include database upgrade, as described in the previous sections of this document.

For detailed instructions, see the Upgrade Guide at channel.sap.com/sbo/documentation.

5. Repeat Steps 2 to 4.

Repeat steps 2 to 4 until you have reached to your target release. Do not upgrade your workstations before reaching to your target release.

6. Upgrade your workstations.

Upgrade the organization workstations only after you have upgraded the Common database, administrator client, and Company Databases to the target release.

For more information, see the Upgrade Guide at channel.sap.com/sbo/documentation
