Bdoc processing is giving dump 'CALL_FUNCTION_PARM_MISSING'

Hi,

we have upgraded system from CRM 4.0 to CRM2007,when i am trying process bdocs from Smw01 it is giving dump for all

BUS_TRANS_MES bodc types,

the error message is

Error analysis

An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYN_CALL_PARAM_MISSING', was

not caught in

procedure "/1CRMGC/BUS_TRANS_MSG_BWA" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a

RAISING clause.

Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the

exception would occur, the current program is terminated.

The reason for the exception is:

When calling the function module "/1CRMGC/BUS_TRANS_MSG_BWR", one of the

parameters

needed according to the interface description was not specified.

This parameter was "ISU_CONT".

Please help me how to fix this issue

We also are seeing this error during our 4.0 to 2007 upgrade. What was the resolution?

Followed the following steps:

Still middlware relevant programs should be generated via TA GNRWB in CRM.Follow the steps for the same:

1. Go to transaction GNRWB in CRM System.

2. Select Repository Object as BUS_TRANS_MSG (on the left) having the type as 'MSG'

3. Select all of the Generator (services) : BWA_REL_CHECK (on the right)

4. Press Generate.

This fixed this specific problem.

Also check OSS Note 757955 even though it says 4.0 to 5.0 upgrade it really pertains to any 4.0 to 5.0 and above upgrade.

Whoever gets to this question, as I did, by searching on one of the components. There is a note for CRM2007 1499386 if you already applied 1400026.
