BC SET

While creating BC sets with SCPR3 using IMG hierarchy, I want to know the exact steps to be followed & how to see all the tables uploaded in BC set. Plz also xplain downloading & uploading steps of BC set.

Also plz tell me what are the building blocks used in the case of MM

Download BC Set

You can download BC Sets from the SAP System to a directory in your PC or another data

medium.

1. Double-click on the BC Set to be downloaded, in the list.

2. Click on Download BC Set.

3. Enter the download path and filename in the following window and choose Continue. You

can overwrite the proposed path and filename. You can browse the directories on your PC

with the possible entries help.

The BC Set is downloaded to the specified directory.

Upload BC Set

You can upload BC Sets from your PC or another data medium into the SAP System.

1. Click on Upload BC Set.

2. Enter the path from which you want to upload the file, and the filename, in the following

window and choose Continue. You can overwrite the proposed path and filename.

You can find the filename of the BC Set in the directories on your PC with the possible

entries help.

The System checks whether the specified BC Set name already exists in the SAPSystem.

If it does, it is displayed. You can continue the upload or cancel. To overwrite the existing

BC Set, choose Continue, otherwise Cancel.

If the BC Set does not yet exist in the SAP System, choose Continue to upload it into the

SAP System.

BC Set long texts are not uploaded and downloaded.

Hi,

Building block is created for a particular business process like organization stature, procurement process, Import,subcontracting ect. You need to create the BC set for all configuration steps involved for a business process in order and you should define prerequisite building block. Sap help you can find the base layer building blocks & different industrial BB's.

For create the BC set SCPR3 (display & maintain BC), create and enter the z_* name and set IMG hierarchy, then enter. select the your config through path and execute. Select the table and goto details tabs then exsting values available system show along with table. Select the one standard setting in data record tab & goto next tab Field selection Attributes select the copy select icon as per requirement (Press F4 you find the usability) and go next tab. here fields available for change mode in activation of BC set. Here in top you can fidn the options copy, download and upload option. first try with small config then go one by one.

Then go to SCPR20 - (Activation of BC Sets) and activate BC,

set. you give your config values while activation.
