Proxy to file communication prerequiste

Hi,

I have a scenario where i need to communicate SAP sytem with Non-Sap system We are using Proxy to file communication. Please let me know prerequiste to develop this scenario i.e. before proceeding with the design, configuration do i need to create any RFC destination or something?

Also i created a msg interface for my outbound in XI. but I could not see the namepsace of Ob in R/3 system to generate proxy. Please guide me on this.

Hi,

Its means there no connection between PI And R3.

You can ask your basis team to configure if you have access

else you need to check ur rfc's maintained in sm59-->http connections to abap systems, proxy connection

If u see a connection do a test if no connection is there u need 2 create.

Hi,

Pls check in sproxy of R3 incase there is no connection you would see only local objects and in that case you need to connect to ur esr.Once done u can see ur pi design objects including ur ob message interface on which u can generate the class.

You have to Activate ABAP Proxy Config in the Application Server(R/3).
