Assignment of material group to valuation class

Please can any one tell me that where we "assign material group to valuation class"

Hi,

Go to spro-mm-purchasing-Material Master- Entry aids for items without material master.

Here against the material group assign the valuation class.

Before that you need to link the valuation class to G/L account in valuation & account assignment -define valuation class.

Hi,

Note this assignment will also have an impact when you create a PO with material types NlAG and UNBW as both these material types dont have accounting views...

So if you don't assign anything to the material grp an entry with blank val claass is determined while you create a PO with this material types or material group...

Hello

A material group cannot be assigned to a valuation class.

It is the material type we are assigning to valuation class.

We assign material type(s) to account category reference in OMSK.

We are creating and assigning valuation classes to account category reference in the same T.code
