I want to create materials X, Y, Z and sell them.
I want also to create material W to order from supplier and keep in stock.
I want for every X that I sell to consume a W, or even have a different analogy. The same for Y and Z.
Is there a way to do this? and what material types and what item cat group should the above materials be?
Thank u
Hello
Make your X,Y,Z with material type FERT (Finished goods) and material W with ROH (Raw materials).
You can maintain a bill of material for the finished goods in CS01 which contains what all materials and in which quantity they are needed for the manufacturing of the finished good (X,Y or Z).
Hope this helps you

Can you explain what you do physically?
do you produce yourself X and use W as component?do you have a subcontractor producing X and using W as a component?
or do you always send W together with X to your customers?
