Executable jar files

Hi All,

Usually the applications are deployed onto portal in PAR format and to view them we create an iview. But I see in the portal all of the applications are executable jar format i need to import them and modify them for bug fixing how can I do it ? Please helpe me out.

Hi Prathima,

All portal applications will be deployed as par files only.

You can get the par files from server location D:\usr\sap\NSP\JC01\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment\temp

Try to import the par.bak from Enterprise Portal perspective.

Hi Tattaya,

Thanks I was browsing under portalapps and found there only executable jar files in temp folder am able to see the par.bak files. Thanks for your help it solved my problem and i have given you the points.
