Deadline Monitoring

Hi Experts,

We have scheduled a Dead line monitoring program with every day scheduling (night). This have started creating lots of Logs which fills up Server data base and hence not allowing us to use the transactions in the Server.

Our Basis team has cleared the logs and as the program is scheduled, this creates logs everyday.

How to stop the Automatic program which schedules everyday. Please help us, as this is affecting our Integration testing process.

Yes SM37 is there surly,

But if you want to change the frequency for the job of Recurring inspection or want to delete the entire scheduling programmed then run QA06. Change the timings or duration and then go for COPY NEW DATA.

OR Simply delete.

Thnx a lot for the valuable inputs.

Unfortunately, there is no variant in QA05. I have tried QA06 and QA07L too.

My problem is, previous consultant had created one Variant and I think he had deleted it already.

I dont know why the logs are getting generated eventhough the variant doent exixts.

Please guide

Try this way,

- Run trx SM37

- Enter the ID of your previous consultant.

- Tick all the Job Status (Schedule, Released, Ready, Active, Finished, Cancelled.

- Remove any other selection.

- Execute

- It will give you the list of all the jobs, created bu this ID.

- Delete them

Thnx Mr.Joshi,

I have deleted all the jobs by running SM37.

Before deleting the jobs selected, I was trying to STOP them. System message was: Not possible to stop the job, job is inactive.

Next step, I tried to delete them. All the jobs have got deleted.

Is something to be done after this. Or is any other way to cross check that all the jobs are permanently deleted.

(I have tried SM37 after deleting the jobs, as u mentioned. It says no job is avaiable)

Is that ok.

I think yes it is ok,

Now it should not generate ant log or any other thing.

Since the job is deleted I don't think there is any way to cross check it accept waiting for the Job run time. i.e. till tomorrow.

Hi Sam,

Go to QA05.Select the variant.

- Go to Display scheduling and delete all released Job.

- Then go to Scheduling Tab remove date and time and go to scheduling periodically tab and select any option.You will get a massage unable to finish request..

That's it.

This will help you to stop the job without destroying the variant

Now no more Job will schedule.

HI

goto the SM37 t-code, there and cancel the active job.

or if you want to remove permanently then delete the job.
