Dears,

We are using ECC5 system that contains ABAP+JAVA stack.

My issue is that in my portal when I go to Content Administration->Webdynpro

There create JCO Connection,Maintain JCO connection options are not active.

And when I click on Test SLD connection,It checks SLD connection to different system of my landscape.

Beside it when i goto http://172.168.1.4:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tclmwebadminmainframewd/WebAdminApp

It shows:

System Landscape Directory is not accessible

Only local system can be administered

Please suggest how can i solve this error.

Hi Shivam,

Do the setting as follows to the visual admin:

Start Visual Administrator.

To start it

1) Go to Server Installed path i.e. usr\sap\<systemid>\<systeminstance>\J2ee\admin

2) Choose go.bat and start it.

3) Under Global Server Configuration, choose <Serverid>.

4) Choose Services under it.

5) Find SLD Data Supplier.

6) Under System Landscape Directory select HTTP Settings.

7) Give all the required fields like Host Name, Port Number, User Name and Password.

😎 Similarly choose CIM Client Generation Settings and give Host Name, Port Number, User Name and Password.

9) You can test the SLD is configured properly or not. Just click CIM Client Test.

10) Save the settings and close Visual Administrator.

Now as the visual admin settings has been done. You can go for jco & next steps...

Hope to help u to some extent...

Hi Bidhut,

Thanks for your response,

As u suggested I did the same.

But when i checked CIM test its showing:

"Failed to generate and test CIMOM client object"

In portal also in Test SLD its showing me correct details now but create JCO connection is still inactive.

Should I have to do sime setting in http://server2:5000/sld also like creating any system

Please suggest.

Hi Shivam,

Your approach to configure SLD seems correct. But if still error comes you can check about your user access or about some permission related issue. Just discuss this matter with the person who concern with SLD.

You can also refer the following threads:

Hi Bidyut,

Thnx for the reply but all links are pointing to same thread and that also i checked is not helpful for me.

Beside it as issue of role is concerned, I am using j2ee_admin user for it.I also checked in system but no role by name sld exist.

I think i have to do some settings in visual admin of my server but not sure.

Please suggest.

Shivam,

This issue is generally encountered when the SLDDSUER is locked or this user does not exist.

Please refer to my post in this thread.

Good Luck.

Dears,

Thanks for your response.

As you suugested I followed the same:

"Technical system is also already created there"

but not getting how to do

After that in the SLD import the CIM content files.

I am using ECC5 with ABAP+JAVA.

I also don't find SLDDSUER user in my system. So I used j2ee_admin on its place and create JCO connection became visible but in /nwa still i am getting error:

"SLD not accessible"
