Delivery is shipment related...How to find?

How do we find if a particular delivery is shipment related....

Hi there,

In SPRO --> Logistics Execution --> Transportation --> Shipments --> Maintain transportation relevance --> for delivery types / delivery item catg / Routes.

This will show you if the delivery type is relevant for transportation planning / shipments.

Also Check in the doc flow which will update shipment

Check for a particular delivery type if that is Relevant for transport.

Check in Processing section if any date is thr against field Trans Planning if its balnk its not related to transporation.

Hi GSL,

Thanks for the helpful answer....If i check as per Header-Administration for a particular document type it is found that the delivery type is relevant for transport.

But if i go by VL06O , , i don't find the delivery number for transport....

Why such discrepency...any idea...?

Hi there,

1 way is to check in VL02N --> Shipment in main screen --> Transportation plan status. If there is no entry there, then the delivery is not relevant for shipment. Press F4 there, you will get the shipment processing statuses.

Thanks for the reply....The status that i can see is c " Completely processed"....Whether it is shipment related how can that be known...

In VL06O, click on push button For Transport Planning and execute. This will give you list of deliveries which are due for shipment processing.
