is it possible to hold the HR postings in FI

Dear experts,

could you please help me out regarding the following issue.

is it possible to hold the HR postings in FI if possible send me the procedure if not give me some reasons.

do u want to hold at Pernr number level or document level

i want to hold at document level in FI

for Eg: to day am going to post the document through HR to FI but the employer will make the pmt in the next month for the particular employee for time being we need to hold the document in FI... if u know the procedure plz let me know

lock the employee for that much untill payment was made check PU03 pernr lock there

hi.. i do not think there is a provision to do it. however, you can always skip posting (if you are not using FI module, and hence there is no impact) and do the next month's pay run

what do u mean by 'hold'?

when u have executed 'post documents' and have no system error, it will stated ' documents posted', it is posted to accounting..

but u can do reverse posting if you want..
