Edit Original application file

Hi,

How to edit an original application file in a document.

hi ,

whatever the file attached to the DIR, just right click on it, you will find edit option, click on it, this way you can edit the original application file.

once you edit it, close the file, you will find the pop up to save the changes. Say "yes " to it.

In this way , whatever the changes you have done on original application file get saved.

Hi,

Editing files (originals) attached to DIR depends upon the format of the attached file, authorization provided to the particular user.

the settings for workstation application has to be provided in dc30 for the particular attached file which needs to be edited.

for more advanced way in editing you need to have ECL Viewer to be installed on your system which helps in redlining/marking and even more editing options.
