Export query into Excel.

Hi all,

I have a client who is trying to export a query to the MS Excel and when she does this and opens it in Excel the font is all in Chinese. It should all be in English. Has anyone had this issue before or heard of anything like this?

Hi Jeff,

There used to be a bug in B1 2004 version which has a similar symptom. The issue is fixed in version 2005.

Whatu2019s your B1 version and patch level now?

Hi,

does the client use local setting China ? I mean is your client using SAP B1 cluster B localization China ? as I have seen that although we have defined english as language in the such database, there are some fields still using the China characters.

Hi Jeff,

How could they tell it is Chinese font? If the query result is all in English and numbers, it is nothing related to B1. The problem might be related to their Excel default font or something like.
