My Scenario is Abap Proxy to XI.
After executing the ABAP proxy program on SAP R/3 box, I checked the SXMB_MONI

Is the Inbound Proxy our Outbound Proxy.
Depending on the version of your R3 WAS you need to select XI Protocol in the XI adapter.
XI 2.0 is for WAS 6.20
XI 3.0 is for WAS 6.40
