BOE XI3.0 Placeholder configuration

Hi,

I am attempting to configure XI3.0 servers to use a second hard drive for their work, temporary and logging directories, as well as change the file store root level to the second drive.

I have noticed that the servers now use a concept of "placeholders", or substitution variables. How and where can I change these variables in order to avoid the painful and painstaking process of visiting each server's properties screen and modifying them by hand, one by one?
