I have activated the workflow TS00008046 for sales orders. But the workflow only works when the EDI partner profile is set to process the IDoc immediately. When I change the partner profile to run as a scheduled background job, the workflow doesn't get triggered. Is there a way to ensure the workflow triggers when run in background mode?
1. Activate the event trace and run the background job again.
2. check in tcode SWEL whether the triggering event of the WF is working fine and ensure that it triggers the proper WF.
3. You can also check the workflow log is getting generated or not in SWI1 tcode. If there is no WF log then the WF is not getting triggerred.
