Hi,

Try to understand from the below CODE

CALL TRANSACTION 'ZBDCSINGLE' USING IT_BDCDATA MODE 'A' UPDATE 'S' MESSAGES INTO IT_BDCMSGCOLL.

REFRESH IT_BDCDATA.

LOCAL MODE UPDATE means update process takes place in the current dialog work process instead of update work process.For further details write the statement and press F1 in se38.
