Hi Rupa,

Yes it is possible.Go to for which ever column you want to implement right click on that and then select Remove cell editor.Now the text view will gone then you right click on the column select insert cell editor,a pop will appears to insert new element,select required element from drop down.

Thats all your column will be drop down.

no list box in the sense. I can get values when we enter the string know like that.

or tell me with dummy code that a particular column should be both editable and drop down.

Yes it is possible.You want to make include both drop down and input fiels for particular column.Yes you can achieve this by using cell variant of column,using this you can make some cells are drop down and some are input enabled.

We have a stanard program WDR_TEST_TABLE,check the view VARIANTS_STANDARD in this go to the method WDMODIFYVIEW.

In the above methos they explained how to add cell variant to the column.

In a column and in a particular cell itself I need both the options of drop down and editable. Both should be applicable for single cell. Is that what I am trying to get.
