Oracle restore not working

Hi Guys,

I am unable to restore a online consistent backup of Oracle.

The restore is happening fine.

But when I try to recover the database or take the database in open state, it gives an error that one data file needs more recovery.

How can a consistent backup need more recovery?

Hi Arko,

You have to recover it using the archive log generated at the time of backup.
