Hi,

To be more exact if you create a mtrl grp contract with 001 matrl grp and select exclusion indicator, then you can't refer this matrl grp when you create PO...That means that all other matrl grps are free to issue rel orders against this contract....

So by selecting this indicator its of no use as you can issue PO of any other matrl grps and it becomes of remote use...

It you deselect then it corresponds to tha 001 matrl grp and you cant issue rel orders of other matrl grps...

Hi,

This is used when you create a material grp contract...

If you tick exclusion indicator then the material grp will be excluded and you cant release any release order of this particular matrl grp.

If you deselect this indicator then only you can release orders of this material grps against this contract...

Hi,

If all materials belonging to a particular material material group is procured from a vendor, this contract can be more effective....

To your knowledge this statement was taken from SAP certification handbook(SAP ECC 5.0)

Dear,

Please refer the below tooo ..

Within the contract maintenance function, you can create source list records for a material group for contract items with item category M (material unknown) or W (material group).

Source list records for material groups define which materials can be released against a contract item with item category M or W.

You can list either all disallowed materials (exclusion of materials) or all allowed materials (inclusion of materials). To exclude materials, you must retain the standard setting of the Exclusion indicator. To include materials, you must deselect the exclusion indicator.

Syed Hussain.
