Data for storage type search is not defined

when I'm trying to close the open TR's for MB11 and create the TO , I get the error message "data for storage type search is not defined (A)."

It is acting more like a warning message but it is an error. It does not stop me from completing the TO process.

The material master and the search strategies looks good to me.But I am sure I am missing some thing.

Hi Basha,

If the message just says "(A)" at the end, then your material might not have

a stock removal strategy defined on the material master, and you don't have

a <blank> strategy defined in the search strategies. If you had a strategy

of (for example) "123" in the material master, then the message should read

"(A 123)"

The reason it's like a warning and an error at the same time is that it's

not fatal - at that point you can step in and manually supply the source

storage type, and optionally section, bin or quant. if you do, it moves on.
