Error: No suitable BOM alternative could be determined

HI guru:

When I am going to create a Production order with HALB material, system is giving message "No suitable BOM alternative could be determined" while we have already created BOM, Routing for this material.

Please suggest what i am missing.

Hi Virendra,

Go to Your Production order and in Master Data tab.

Check which production version is selected.Then pick that production version and check its consistency in C223.Consistency result should be green signal along with valid BOM and Routing.

If there is any error is there then correct it.

Some of the reasons are,

- Valid From and To dates are not match

- Lot sizing limit of BOM doesn't match with Order qty.

- In active status of BOM

- BOM's validity date

- order quantity

Are you using several BOM alternatives? Are you using production version?
