How to create "Tax Category" field in VK03 transaction?

Dear All,

I am need to add withholding tax into SD document. I have created a condition type for withholding tax. However when I want to add new record using transaction OVK3 - Change View Customer Tax, the first field "Tax Categ" I can't find the condition type that I have created.

Question: how to add a new "Tax Category" that subsequently can be used in OVK3?

Check the condition type you have created. Use tax condition type only. Condition class should be taxes.

Hi

Check the account group of your customer. Goto TCode OBD2 and select above group and goto general data /Control tab and check the status of Tax categories field (Last field) and make it as optional and let us know the result
