Delete all the closed Service Desk messages

Former Member

Hi!

When I try tp delete a business partner by usage of tcode "BUPA_DEL" I get the warning that this business partner will be used in some transactions.

Therefore I closed all the messages with theis assignment.

Unfortunately when I start CRM_DNO_MONITOR I see that some service desk messages with this business partner still exist, bu are closed.

Question:

What is the report or tcode to delete all the closed Service Desk messages?

Thank you very much!

regards

This report is obsolete.

Try to archive & delete messages from TA SARA.

1. Enter Archiving object CRM_SERORD

2. Go through the archiving steps:

RM_ARC_SERORD_CHECK Check program

CRM_ARC_SERORD_READ Read program

CRM_ARC_SERORD_SAVE Write program

CRM_ARC_SERORD_DELETE Delete program

3. After that, your messages, wich system status was "complete" will remove from system.

Hi Holger,

just use tx DNOTIFWL.

Here you can complete, reopen a message and mark ist for deletion.

After marking your messages for deletion you have to run the report Z_delete_basic_notifications (see note 566224).

I hove this is what your looking for.

kind regards

U can only delete basic message with this Z-transaction,

to delete CRM messages:

The right way to delete/archive messages is described below:

To keep the system consistent, the ABA notification AND the assigned CRMmessage have to be removed from the system.

To delete the ABA notification the note 566225 that you used is the
right one.

The deletion of CRM messages (e.g. with CRM_ORDER_DELETE) is not
possible anymore (as of note 845433).
The CRM message only can be archived. To archive the CRM message with
transaction SARA the archiving object CRM_SERORD is the correct one.

Archiving object CRM_SERORD has the following archiving programs that
have to be processed one after the other:
Program Name Function
CRM_ARC_SERORD_CHECK Check program
CRM_ARC_SERORD_SAVE Write program
CRM_ARC_SERORD_DELETE Delete program
CRM_ARC_SERORD_READ Read program

In order to be able to create the archiving file, the CRM transactions
need to have the system status I1005 (Completed).--> please make sure
that the transactions that you want to archive have this status.

Refer this link

/message/5890434#5890434 [original link is broken]

Go to transaction Dnotif

Open your Support Message

Click the Change button

Change the Status to Complete Notification

Click the Save button

Change the Status to Mark for Deletion

Click the Save button I found a SAP Note for this issue:

Note 566225 - Report to delete the basis notifications with deletion flag

This Note has a Z-Report "Z_DELETE_BASIC_NOTIFICATIONS" as attachement that is supposed to delete all notifications that have status 'Deletion flag'

For the above steps a quick report can be written in SE38 to loop through all the messages and set their status to "Mark for Deletion".

Then use the SE38 report CRM_ORDER_DELETE to delete the Support Messages
