I want to change a connection within webi to point to a diff universe

Hi Mr. Bowen,

. Open the webi report in Edit mode

. Then click on "edit query".

. On the left you will see 2 tabs, one will be 'data' and the other 'properties'.

. Click the properties tab and go to the universe browse button, and select the universe you need from the list.

Hi Allen,

This is a limitation of the Query-HTML panle that you cannot change the Universe for a Webi report. This option is not even available in the Interactive Mode in XI R2.

In BO XI 3.0, along with Java Report panel the Interactive Report Panel also offers the functionality to change the Universe. This feature must have been added considering the same need.

Can the universe be changed while using Query-HTML editor versus the Java editor? We currently have the additional probelm of not being able to see the other universes using Java. So while the Java issue is being reviewed we thought we would try the Query-HTML editor because we can see all universes when creating a new WebI document. But when you edit the query using Query-HTML there seems to be no method to select a different universe.
