Printer Configure in HP Unix

Dear Expert,

I am using ECC 6.0 with Oracle 10.2 on HP Unix .I want to configure one Network printer that IP is 172.19.1.5 . How to configure this printer in Unix and SAP.So that my user can take sap printing on this printer . Please help me step by step.

Start "sam" on OS level and configure the printer (see http://unix.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/HP-UX-Admin/2007-10/msg00023.html), then create the printer in transaction SPAD using acces method "L" and enter the same name you gave on operating system level.

I am new in HP Unix.So plesae tell me How to install HP laser 1150 N/w Printer in HP Unix .Then I will try in sap Via SPAD.

To add HP printers I suggest using JetDirect Printer installer:

Follow the installation instructions and the readme on the same page.

can u try creating a queue for the printer in /etc/qconfig

this is the way we do it for all the network printers.
