Hi Guys,
What is difference between structure (of HR) P0000 & P0302 ? Although, both are related with HR Master Data-Action(0) Infotype, What exactly the major difference between them? When we need to fatch data from p0000 and when from p0302?
Suitable answer will be rewarded.
Thanks,
Ravin
P0000 is actions u check in PA40 hire an employee so the first screen is actions P0000
P0302 is additionla actions i mean when u perform more than one action on the same day u will get P0302 additional action
while performing actions generally tick u0302 in T529A

hi,
IT 0000 as well as 0302 will store the details of Action performed on an employee.
When more than 1 action is performed on an employee on a single day then IT 0000 will hold only the latest action performed for that day because of the Time Constraint defined on it.
Whereas, IT 0302 will store a record for each action performed on a single day.

Functionally:
SAP do not allow storing two infotypes of Time Constraint 1 with the same subtype on the same day, because it would be mean the delimitation date for both will be the same, in which case first Infotype would be overwritten by the latter one.
But if for any reason two actions are run on same day then SAP has to store this info. To handle this situation SAP created u201CAdditional Actionsu201D (Infotype 0302) to capture these additional/multiple actions on same day. This infotype cannot be maintained directly, but it is located for viewing at the bottom of the Actions infotype (0000).
Technically:
The table PA0302 stores the additional actions records. For any 2 actions on the same day this table will have 2 entries differentiated by SEQNR field. for the first rec seqnr is 000 and for second it will be 001 and so on.
Other difference is this table only stores MASSN and MASSG values and unlike other data(statuses) in PA0000.
Hope this info qualifies for points
Cheers
Sameer
