Using RSMDCNVEXIT transaction in BI 7.0 for correcting data inconsistencies

Hello,

Can anybody please let me know if we can use the transaction RSMDCNVEXIT for correcting issues with ALPHA, NUMCV and GJAHR conversion routines.

The issue is that we had some InfoObjects in BI whose conversion exits were missed out. We identified that later and wanted to add the conversion exit and activate the InfoObject. But some of the InfoObjects already has data in it and we wanted to know of we can get the data corrected without going for data re-loads with the help of RSMDCNVEXIT transaction or any other way of doing the same?

Thanks in advace for your help.

Hi ,

If the system to be upgraded is BW 3.0B system established as a u201Cnew installationu201D - transaction RSMDCNVEXIT can be utilized to address potential inconsistencies in data for characteristics that employ routines of type ALPHA, NUMCV, and GJAHR. Please refer to SAP note 447341.

hope this helps you .
