special postign periods

Dear all

If posting periods are APRIL TO MARCH 1 to 12

and special periods are 13,14,15,16

can any one explain about special periods with a simple example please?

Hi

Posting in special periods is required to post adjustment documents required to arrive a true and fair view of the profit of the company. We can achieve this via postings in special periods. Ex : Posting of a document of salaries for the month of March paid on April 1st.
