Import in MII 12.0

Hi All,

I am not able to import the transaction in MII 12.0 saved on the desktop

It throws the error that i have not been assigned the roles which can perform this action

I have xMII developer,xMII Administrator and Administrator roles which other roles are required to perform simple import

12.0 imports from 11.5 content have potential for more problems than just Reader/Writer Role security name changes. This is why there is a migration tool for publishing 11.5 content into the 12.0 server.

Yeah I was trying to import 11.5 transaction in MII 12.0

1. First open that file (.trx) of transaction in notepad/textpad.

2. In the opened XML form, change the node values for Administrators, Developers, Everyone to XMII Administrators, XMII Developers, XMII Users in <WriterRoles></WriterRoles> and <ReaderRoles></ReaderRoles>

3. Save the changes and import that file
