Need help for creating database with default character set as unicode

Please guide me to the documentation which can help me to create a database in MaxDB with default character set a unicode.

Hi there,

where's the problem with that?

Just use the DBMGUI Create Instance Wizard and follow all steps and you will get a database with UNICODE as the default encoding.

If you want to doublecheck, look for the parameters UNICODE=TRUE and DEFAULTCODE=UNICODE.

Sorry for not being specific. Actually i wanted to create the database instance via dbmcli and wanted to know the option to keep the character set as UNICODE. If it's so by default then problems.
