If you are moving between storage locations in the same plant (mvt 311) you should not get this error because the material document does not accompany FI document.

Dear Dan

As you would be aware one FI document can have line items upto a maximum of 999 and it seems, you are trying to input more than that and hence the error.

Try to minimise the number of line items and retry.

thanks

But what linkage exist between moving materials with MB1B and Fi document? ?

Hi Dan

Absolutely, as suggested by GSL, while doing Transfer Posting Within the Plant, valuation doesn't take place, hence no FI linkage. This is because the Valuation Area could be either Plant or Company Code.

Could u brief the scenario?
